The Tallebudgera Creek was one of my family’s favourite summer swimming spots as a child and still is one of the most kid friendly beaches on the Gold Coast, with its clear calm waters, fantastic children’s park and a coffee and ice cream shop on the shore, its a no brainer for a sunny day out.

The white sandy beach is lifeguard patrolled, shallow and smooth waters making it great for younger kids, other popular activities around the creek are paddle boarding, canoeing and fishing all with the beautiful Burleigh Heads National Park as backdrop.

The small kids playground includes climbing equipment, slide, see-saw and a platypus spring rocker, plus change rooms, toilets and shower amenities, a small kiosk at Neptune Royal Life Saving Club serving take away coffee and ice creams.
