There’s always plenty to do at The State Library of Western Australia, for children and families visit The Place where you can relax and share a story on comfy cushions; dress up and play with puppets or look at original artworks by children’s book illustrators. There are computers for children to listen to online audio stories and activity stations and special programs every school holidays.

Storytime and rhymetime scheduled each week.

Baby Rhymetime: Come and enjoy Baby Rhymetime, every Tuesday at 10.30am at The Place with Songs, rhymes and stories for babies and their families.

Big Stories for little people: Storytime happens every Wednesday at 10.30am, full of interactive story fun for pre-schoolers and their carers.

Thursday- 09:00 am – 08:00 pm
Friday- 09:00 am – 05:30 pm
