Parramasala, the flagship festival of Multicultural March, will return for its eighth year from 9th to 11th of March in Parramatta. Parramasala will be a free, public celebration of the diverse and rich cultures in Sydney, offering entertainment, food, markets and music from over 40 different cultures in a positive, diverse and family-friendly atmosphere.
In addition to the extensive entertainment program Parramasala will feature a number of free family-friendly workshops taking place under the four banners of South Asia, Middle East, Pacific Nations and African Nations.
At Pacific Nations, there will be:
– Traditional storytelling, song and dance with Aunty Marloo
– NRL Pacific Cup skills clinic
– Weaving workshops 
– Drum workshops

At South Asia, there will be:
– Odissi dance workshop with Nabinita Goshal
– Chinese dance
– Acrobatics and arts
– Dance workshop with Raghav Handa (Raghav’s Folly and Time will be performed at Riverside Theatres during Parramasala)

At Middle East, there will be:
– Persian dance with Jrisi
– Drum and dance workshops
– A dance mob workshop (12pm Sunday) and following the workshop the dance mob will perform on the Masala Stage
At African Nations, there will be:
– African art workshops
– African rhythms workshop
