Moorebank Sports Club, or Sporties if you ask the locals, is situated in Sydney’s South West, accessible via the M5 and Heathcote Rd. Sporties is a wonderful place for families to visit with great facilities for kids.

The big drawcard for our family is the big “Backyard” area that includes playgroup equipment, 3 cubby houses, a shaded sandpit and some farm animal enclosures (Rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and “Peter” the goat).

The club itself has a restaurant (open for lunch and dinner) and café (10am-late) . A buzzer system is in place so that you can order and be notified when your food is ready even when you are sitting outside. There are ample tables available around the outdoor area, most of which are undercover.

The backyard area is fenced, however the gate is often left open so need to be mindful of this if your little one is an explorer.
