Jens Altheimer, a quirky Paris trained performer and circus artist, is ready to take children on an adventure in Loose Ends, an emotional and clever theatre production showing at the Ipswich Art Gallery these Spring school holidays.
Altheimer wants to organise his life into boxes, in fact every part of his world has a place in one of his boxes, but throughout the story he learns that he needs to not worry so much about fitting things into a box and to care for his friendship. The audience go on this journey with him as he learns the proper way to care for and nurture his friend. Combining circus art with machinery and science is unexpected and inspiring, raising questions from children about all things from science to their own emotions and friendships.
The show is extremely entertaining, funny and easy to watch. The younger children will enjoy the visuals and humour, and the older children will love the storyline and science! It truly is a show for all ages!
The show runs from Monday September 18th until Sunday October 1st with two sessions daily (10:30am and 1:30pm).
