Lights in the Heights is a free family Christmas lights experience like no other hosted at C3 Church Hepburn Heights.
The event is split in various zones and as you enter the lit up tunnel your little ones are given a map to have stamped as they travel through each of the areas.
There is a winter wonderland full of white trees and a delightful trainset, a neon lightshow, walk through Christmas story book scenes, a craft room where your kids get to make their own tree ornament, a photo area where your child can ‘take a selfie with Santa’ and the whole family can have photo booth style pics taken (complete with cheesy Christmas props!!), but by far the biggest hit of the night was the UV disco where a room full of UV painted kids led by a digital big screen Santa dancing up a storm. Imagine a rave designed especially for little people, my toddler was in heaven!
This really is a wonderful community event with a huge amount of volunteers making sure you moved effortlessly through the event, we didn’t queue for anything but nor did we feel rushed, half an hour was the perfect amount of time to experience it all.
Lights in the heights is a free event but you are required to book tickets online in advance.
