Blackburn Lake Sanctuary is one of the few remaining natural bushland reserves in Melbourne. With a huge bushland park, lake, wetlands, bicycle/walking-tracks and amazing playspace all located within the Sanctuary.
The large playground is centred around a giant big turtle that the kids will love climbing and balancing all over his body and shell. The playground play equipment includes a rock climbing wall, dry creek bed, large musical xylophone, rope net pyramid, wave slides and curly slide, a rope bridge, carousel, grasshopper spring rocker, multiple swings including baby/toddler seats and a family hammock swing.
There’s also large timber picnic tables, open lawns to kick a ball and visitor centre surrounding the playground.
