ARTplay at the Museum of Contemporary Art

Each Wednesday (during School term), the Museum of Contemporary Art holds ARTplay. ARTplay is a two hour fun filled free time exploration of all things bright, bold and big. Choose to drop in anytime during the two hours, and leave when you want.

The room is filled with different activity stations where the children can build, experience textures, read books, climb, dress up, and create their own puppet shows. They can explore the newly commissioned Bella Room by artist Kathy Temin, where a giant daschund can be groomed and washed, whilst bubbles blow around the room.

Each ARTplay session there is rhyme time during the first hour, where MCA staff sing songs and rhymes. During the last hour, there is a designated story time, where a book or two are read and is beautifully animated by the MCA staff.

Wednesday- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
