White Night Melbourne will return to the streets, laneways and parks of the city on Saturday 17 February 2018.
From colourful light projections and awe-inspiring art installations, to interactive performances, puppetry and an array of musical hubs. There will be so many free events to see over 12 continuous hours.
The White Night Melbourne northern and southern precincts will again feature many prominent program pieces – including a No Lights No Lycra dance party for the whole family at the Melbourne Museum – as well as food and amenities, all set within beautiful, spacious parkland. Consider commencing your journey in either the Carlton Gardens or the Alexandra and Queen Victoria Gardens before heading into the city.
Expect large crowds from about 7pm until midnight, but the programs run all night. Swanston Street and Flinders Street may be particularly busy, Russell and Elizabeth Streets are expected to have lighter pedestrian foot traffic.
