In amongst the beautiful Victoria Park is a fantastic playground for all children. Surrounded by great walking paths, a lake, picnic/BBQ areas and Victoria Park pool, the playground feels like it is a million miles from civilisation, but right in the heart of all the hustle and bustle.

Take a step into the 19th century and stroll through the many historic structures that provide a throwback to the park’s opening, and a feel for Sydney at an earlier time. These include the entrance gates, Gardener’s Lodge (which is now home to a café), an ornamental wooden bridge and Canadian totem pole with the university peeking above the horizon.
Once you have enjoyed the surrounds, let the children explore the new park. A zip line and climbing orb attract the older children, while the cubby house and swing engage the younger children. Beautifully shaded from the sun, it allows for play at all times of the day.
