Valley Heights Locomotive Depot Heritage Museum displays a collection of both Railway and Tramway exhibits as well as miscellaneous small exhibits, Railway Art and Model Railway.

The Steam Tram & Railway Preservation Society are also located on site and operate the Valley Heights Steam Tramway on open days (subject to certain conditions), between February and December.

The Museum is open on the 2nd & 4th Sunday (except 2nd Sunday of May – Mothers Day and 4th Sunday of December), from 10am to 4pm. Admission charge includes Museum Entry and Unlimited rides, the proceeds of which go towards to ongoing improvement of the Museum.
