The Tasmanian Transport Museum saves, restores and maintains rail and road items from Tasmania’s past. These include electric trams and trolley buses, steam and diesel engines.

The museum is open on Saturdays, Sundays and some Public Holidays, from 1:00 pm until last admissions at 4:00 pm. On the third Sunday of each month only, the museum opens at 11am. Group visits are available at other times by arrangement.
