Symbio is fantastic zoo which includes a great selection of zoo animals, australian and farmyard animals.

There are two happy snap sessions where visitors can have their photo taken with a koala or whilst holding a snake/croc. The keeper talks are fantastic. The staff really know their animals and are happy for young or old to ask lots of questions.

Feed can be purchased for a few dollars at the front reception for the farmyard and kangaroo walkthrough. My children loved how friendly the kangaroos were. The new farmyard area opens in Spring 2016 and is going to be a fantastic renovation.

The tigers, red pandas, albino echidna and cheetahs were favourites for our family but every exhibit was wonderful. We especially loved that nearly every exhibit had a glass viewing panel which allowed children of all sizes (or prams/wheelchairs) to see the animals up close.

There are lots of behind the scenes experiences including holiday activities that allow children 7+ to be “Keeper for a Day”.
