Pumpkins, spiders and scares oh my! Trick-or-treat your way through the spooky activity stations in Centennial Park.
Children will follow a map, complete challenges, such as navigating their way through a wicked spider web, retrieving frogs from a cauldron of slimy witches brew, guess animal skeletons, use Nerf guns to stop the dead from rising in the Zombie Graveyard and being spooked by swamp monsters along the way.
At the end of the trail, participants receive a ‘Trick AND Treat’ such as a slime making kit or magic crystal growing tree, however, the aim of the event is getting children outside and active whilst engaging in good old-fashioned fun!
Some areas of the trail will have ‘too cute to spook’ alternatives for younger children. Once finished, families are invited to decorate a scarecrow in our pumpkin patch at the Community Garden. They will just need to bring some old clothes to fill with straw.
Start times are available every 15 minutes between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm at The Learning Centre in the Education Precinct.
