The beautiful playground runs adjacent to Ipswich Nature Centre, It truly is a wonderful playground with multiple levels and areas to discover and enjoy.

A flying fox, liberty swing, a “sunken” train, water play and slides are just some of the equipment on offer, which are all a nod to Ipswich’s coal mining history. Miss G’s favourite part was, what I am calling, “The Circle of Swings”. There are a set of 8 swings in a circle (hence the name!) and all of the kids absolutely loved watching and laughing at each other.

The playground is surrounded by trees and seats, as well as plenty of park land to enjoy a picnic. Queens Park Café sits at the top of the playground, giving parents and carers a perfect excuse to grab a coffee and recharge their batteries outdoors while their little ones play.
