No one quite does Mother’s Day like The Langham, Sydney. This year, celebrations begin on Saturday 12th May with a Pink Afternoon Tea that will run all weekend. An extravagant Mother’s Day Lunch is then served in Bistro Remy on Sunday 13th May, featuring an enthralling pink dessert buffet and gift just for mums.
The Langham Sydney presents the ultimate family style lunch in Bistro Remy on Sunday 13th May. Mum receives a glass of premium sparkling on arrival and surprise gift to take home, courtesy of Laurent-Perrier. Guests are treated to a variety of grazing shared plates including freshly shucked oysters, tiger prawns, and smoked salmon on brioche to start. Executive Chef Dave Whitting then presents main dishes including oven baked snapper, roast chicken, beef carpaccio, and an assortment of vegetable dishes such as a walnut, goat’s cheese and radicchio salad, and more. The Lunch concludes with our much loved all-you-can-eat dessert buffet, laden with everything pink, and inclusive of a selection of tea or barista coffee for all diners.

Sweet items include everything from pomegranate marshmallows, wild strawberry and vanilla crème cones, to rosewater lamingtons, white chocolate and rosella bonbons, and more. These will be accompanied by Langham’s signature warm scones with jam and cream. Savoury delights feature smoked trout quiche, mushroom and goat’s cheese vol-au-vent, lamb and rosemary pie, and chicken liver parfait on brioche. These will be served with delicate finger sandwiches filled with a choice of cucumber and cream cheese, or curried chicken and spinach. A selection of tea or barista coffee will be included for all guests.
