We recently stopped off in Manjimup to check out the newly opened Timber and Heritage Park playground. I’m so glad we made the time, it was an absolute treat.

The main attraction is of course the 17 metre tall viewing platform and mammoth slide but there is so much more to this park than that.

There were various playgrounds suitable for toddlers and also bigger kids, all of which were well shaded with beautiful play equipment. There is also a flying fox to keep your older ones (or husband) amused.

This is the perfect rest stop on your jouney down south, especially with the new shopping centre nearby for you to stock up on supplies. Just make sure you leave home early because the kids won’t want to leave this place in a hurry!!

The Manjimup Timber & Heritage Park is open seven days. In the months April to September it is open from 9:00am – 5:00pm. From October to March it is open from 9:00am – 8:00pm. Entry is free.
