The secret is out: kids love the Entertainment Quarter, in Sydney’s Moore Park! Everywhere you turn there’s something to put a smile on the kids faces and keep them entertained, especially on Market Days (Wednesday and Saturday). Entertainment Quarter is fun for the whole family, young and old.

The markets are every Wednesday and Saturday in the centre outdoor show ground ring. There are both covered and uncovered areas, and continue rain or shine. Ensure to stop off and indulge in a coffee or some delicious market food before heading to the playground for the kids. If the playground isn’t for your child, they may love the Choo Choo train ride between 10-3pm ($5/person for 9 minutes) or enjoy a pony ride around the show ring for $8. Some pony’s even look like unicorns!

Open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and 7 days during the NSW school holidays (weather permitting), is the outdoor, undercover Action Zone. The latest collection of award winning, unique and innovative inflatables combined with the interactive sensory play activities in an environment that is comfortable not only for the kiddies but parents and careers too. The Action Zone is targeted at children between 1 – 10 with an emphasis on the toddlers and little ones.

And for the most adventurous kids, Imagine the fun they would have jumping up to 7 metres into the air off a trampoline, looking down on the crowd from over 2 storeys up. Using multiple bungy cords the traditional trampoline is super boosted to allow a gravity defying ride giving all the adrenaline of bungy jumping but none of the risks. Open Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays and everyday of the NSW State School Holidays (weather permitting) from 10am-4pm. Rides are $10 each for 4 mins.
