Located in the centre of the Gold Coast city, Evandale parklands are a beautiful location for a stroll, picnic, swim or jog.
Situated behind the Council Chambers and HOTA, (formerly the Arts Centre Gold Coast), the park offers amazing views over the Nerang River with the Surfers Paradise skyline as your backdrop.
Evandale Parklands is also home to a swimming lagoon, popular with nippers training and recreational swims. The lagoon offers a sheltered swimming environment (no big waves) making it the perfect spot for toddlers to dip their feet.
The kids fully fenced playground is also a great one, with slides, climbing equipment, pretend cafe shop window, fire man pole and see-saw. The playground has sand underfoot (byo bucket and spade) and a huge shade sail for those hot Queensland days. Plus every Sunday the Bundall Farmers Market is on.
