You either like indoor play centres, or you don’t… I for one LOVE an indoor play centre; kids running amok, climbing, sliding, screaming, throwing balls and entertaining each other all while you sip on a latte and chat with other Mum’s relaxed in the knowledge they will be VERY tired when you leave.
Suffice to say I have frequented many in the cooler months and on rainy days. Club Kids Playhouse and Cafe in Earlwood is particularly great for younger kids because it’s a smaller space so you don’t have that little panic every 5 minutes of “where are they?”. You can sit down in the cafe next to the fenced off toddler section (0-3 years) while the older ones can climb and explore the maze and hoon down the slides on hessian sacks relatively supervised (winning!).
They offer various free activities during the week in the way of painting, crafts and face painting at 11am and have some colourful and fun designated party rooms with affordable packages and loads of entertainment options.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the cafe menu is the most extensive of an indoor play centre I’ve ever seen (did I mention I’ve been to a few?). The coffee was good too so that is always a tick for us!
