Parramatta’s Centenary Square will be bursting with festive spirit on Thursday 24 November when it hosts the City’s annual Christmas celebration, with entertainment, activities and fireworks planned from 4.30pm to 9.30pm.
The main stage at ‘Christmas in Parramatta’ will be hosted by Jimmy Giggles from ABC Kids and feature performances by much-loved characters Hoot and Hootabelle, as well as 2016 Parravision winners, JMA Entertainment and local school choirs.
New to the event this year will be a mobile kitchen hosted by celebrity chef Ben Milbourne, with Christmas-themed cooking demonstrations and cook-offs featuring Western Sydney Giants’ players.
Other highlights will include a special visit from Santa, craft and story time workshops, and a 9D Cinema. The evening celebrations will culminate with the lighting of the giant Christmas tree, followed by a spectacular fireworks finale.
