The Casey Safety Village is open on selected days and evenings during school holidays. The school holiday program is aimed at increasing road safety and fire safety awareness for children up to 12 years of age. Children can bring their own bicycles and safety gear or use one of the many available (subject to availability).

The CRSEC is a mini version of Victorian roads and aims to educate the community about road safety, in a safe, fun, controlled and positive learning environment. Some of the simulated traffic environments include traffic signals (pedestrian operated), pedestrian crossings, roundabout, railway train crossing, school crossing, and road signs.
